Wendy has a true passion for life and has developed a strong background in harvesting a total of eight dimensions of wellness which include physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, financial, social, occupational, and environmental. to include being an advocate to fight for the rights of those who suffer from Alcohol or Substance Use Disorder. Wendy has nearly a decade of sobriety, education, experience working with her clients, and building strength in her own recovery. Like so many others, she has been left to endure the pain of losing some of the best people she will/has ever met. Many of these people lost their battle simply because they could not afford to enter into some type of recovery. This is the main purpose of Wendy devoting much of her time to continue receiving education and working to help those suffering. While Wendy must afford to provide for her family and does work for profit, she has also made many arrangements available to help those not able to afford services otherwise.
Day by Day Wellness will not turn away anyone who asks and truly wants to accept help, Day by Day Wellness will continuously serve a set number of clients pro-bono and any other on a sliding scale fee unable to meet the full financial obligation. Wendy volunteers her time working with youth facilitating a program called INDEPTH by the American Lung Association in which youth caught smoking at school can avoid being expelled by working the program. She also donates her time each week as a SMART Recovery Facilitator including training as a Family and Friends Facilitator (which is entirely free to anyone wanting to attend meetings and/or learn the tools offered by SMART Recovery whether you are the attendee or a family/friend of attendee). Unfortunately, we are unable to accept any form of insurance but we are happy to file reimbursements or complete reports and meet requirements for sponsorships/donations from other organizations. Currently, I am not authorized to accept insurance due to being a stand-alone service. If and/or when we meet guidelines then we will be making every effort to do so. These efforts define what sets us apart from any other wellness and recovery coaching organization.
